Ann Smith

Ann Smith is best known for her lush, expressive largescale watercolors. Her award-winning paintings have been exhibited by the National Watercolor Society, featured in Southwest Art, Watercolor Magic and in North Light Book’s Splash series. In 2014, Art Business News Magazine named her one of the “Top Fifty Artist to Watch.” A chapter is devoted to Smith in a book released in 2016 titled, Legends & Masters: Tips from 34 Visionary Artists. Nationwide her paintings are in the permanent collections of Humana and Presbyterian Hospitals. Many remark that her Art holds a peaceful healing quality.  Locally here in Durango Colorado, six of her Gecleé prints hang in the Oak Room of Durango’s Famous Historic Strater Hotel.
