Catherine Swaim

I am a retired educator/augmentative communication specialist and moved to the Durango area in 2014.  I have always enjoyed working on the landscaping around my home and getting out on the hiking trails that surround this beautiful place I now call home.  I became interested in botanical printing after coming across some articles about the process and immediately became hooked.  Now when I am out hiking I always take a bag and a pair of scissors for collecting Interesting leaves I see along the way. I have recently started teaching botanical printing and have enjoyed combining a hobby I love with my life long joy of teaching someone something new.
