The students are going to learn how to make an eco-printed silk scarf using plants and rusted material wrapped and steamed. Eco-printing is taking plant elements and extracting the pigments from them onto material which can be cloth of paper to leave imprints on the surface after they have been steamed. Each piece comes out with a unique mark making pattern. Students get to take a new eco-printed scarf home with them at the end of the workshop.
