Dr. Mark Johnson is a retired academic physician whose passion for photography began decades ago. Throughout his professional career, he had the privilege of traveling the world where, at medical meetings, he educated colleagues and trainees. These global experiences ignited his interest in capturing the rich history, cultures, and landscapes he encountered.

Following his retirement, Dr. Johnson dedicated himself more fully to refining his photography skills, evolving what began as a hobby into a deeper artistic practice. His work is characterized by a keen eye for detail, color, light, and shadow. Now, as a photographer, he continues to explore the intersections of history and the natural world, sharing his unique perspective through images that celebrate the beauty and complexity of the places he’s visited.
