Heather Freeman was born in Ellington, CT in 1974. The first time she picked up a paint brush she was 9 years old. However it wasn’t until she was in her early 30’s that she realized she wanted to pursue a career in art. Currently based in Durango, Colorado Heather has been honing her skills in abstract art for the past several years. Originally a public health educator, Heather blends her painting skills with her 25+ years of health education experience, bringing together the perfect marriage of her two passions.
