Learn the most versatile lettering technique with the most simple of tools: the pencil. 

In this hands-on lettering class, participants will learn the pressure release graphite technique they can apply to a variety of lettering styles and drawing. 

Each participant is encouraged to bring the pencils they love and will be given a pencil they can take with them along with lettering templates and exemplars. 

We will start by testing different types of graphite. We will then continue through several exercises and end up with a small portfolio book of techniques you can refer to for your next project. 

Whether you draw, letter, or just love pencils, this class will get you started and keep you inspired. 

No experience necessary, supplies are included. An accompanying video about pencil sharpeners and erasers will also be provided.
