Paul has been sculpting for over thirty years, since the early age of four, and he has been sculpting professionally for over sixteen years, since his first commission to create a heroic-sized dragon statue. He comes from a long line of passionate artists and raised on the Colorado Plateau, surrounded by beauty. Paul is inspired by nature, history, stories, and his own life experiences. Having been shown sculpting techniques and the inner workings of bronze-casting foundries at an extremely young age, and learning of it throughout his childhood, Paul grew very passionate about creating sculptures with his own hands. Paul sculpts in clay, or in wax. He then creates certain types of moulds over his pieces in order to cast them in bronze, or for cold casting in plaster, or resin. He has created dozens of sculptures, large and small, and he is always eager to learn, and grow with each new piece that he creates. He remains passionate about beautifying the world, to honor humanity and nature with sculptures that uplift and inspire for his lifetime, and for lifetimes to come.
