Building Resilience as an Artist with Heather Leavitt Martinez

  • Create Art and Tea 1015 Main Avenue Durango, CO, 81301 United States (map)

Are you living your best art life?

Or have you hit a few bumps or roadblocks to living out that vision?

Investigate what you have you learned that has made you stronger and build the resilience you need to get you through the tough times.

As artists, we live in a system that is often unsupportive. From parents or authority figures telling us what we can’t do, to society perpetuating the myth of the “starving artist.”  It’s up to us to create an environment and system we can thrive in. Find the resources and strength within yourself to do your best work, despite the resistances we face.

In this 1-hour session, you will explore what makes you come ALIVE and what enables you to thrive in order to live the art life you envision.

Free for emerging artists ages 15-30

$20 for mid-career artists and friends 30+
